There goes the neighborhood! Bicycle tour of thrift stores with Joy Boe and Josh Bellfy

Join artists Joy Boe and Josh Bellfy on a leisurely community bike ride touring thrift stores in the North Park neighborhood. Meet at Stuff N Thangs Thrift store (3771 30th St, next to Saguaros – map) at 2pm with your bike/ scooter/ moped/ unicycle or wheeled object of your choice. The tour will end at Art Produce on University between 4 and 4:30pm.

The ride will take place over a couple of hours and span roughly 3 miles within a few blocks of University Ave, stopping at a variety of local thrift stores where we can scrounge for some used goods!

There Goes the Neighborhood!is a four day event that positions “the neighborhood” as a fluid institution of creative production, critical thinking and intersecting interests.

The event kicks off tomorrow at UCSD where I will be part of a panel to talk about the intersection between business, art and transportation and discuss how university communities can be a part of the ongoing discussion to make cities more livable.
