Rideshare Week is a nationally recognized event held the first week in October to promote commute alternatives to driving alone. Make a difference and join commuters and companies nationwide as they replace their solo drive with a new, more sustainable commute. This year, San Diegans are asked to take the challenge all month long. Rideshare Week 2011 starts October 3.

The Rideshare 2011 Commuter Challenge is a challenge that lasts during the month of October, beginning on October 3. The goal is to encourage San Diegans to use alternative modes of transportation, such as biking, to get to work. To participate,

Log your eligible trips in TripTracker to be automatically entered for chances to win prizes.
Continue tracking your eligible trips each week as prize drawings will be held during the entire month of October. Prizes include gift certificates to Suki Day Spa, monthly transit passes from the Metropolitan Transit System and the North County Transit District, Cloud 9 SuperShuttle service vouchers, Chargers tickets, guest passes to the Maritime Museum of San Diego, and more.
