Bike to Work Day is this Friday (May 17, 2013)

SANDAG’s annual push to get San Diegans riding to work happens this Friday, May 17th. Registering to bike to work means you will be entered to win some excellent prizes all month long which happens to be bike month.

This Friday is Bike to Work Day, and many businesses and other supporters will have pitstops to make the journey to work that much more pleasant.

The regular commuters are very excited to have a new cadre of San Diegans joining them on the road this Friday and the rest of the month. A BikeSD member, Khalisa Boiling, made this beautiful video along with some of her friends to inspire as many people as they could.

In an effort to encourage more people to bike to work, this film contrasts a driver and bike commuter’s start to their workday. The film highlights the question, how do you want to start your day?
