Congratulations to Todd Gloria on Announcement to Run for State Assembly

BikeSD congratulates Councilmember Todd Gloria on the announcement today of his candidacy for the State Assembly to represent the 78th Assembly District. As the representative of San Diego City Council District 3 for nearly eight years, including his time as the City Council President and Interim Mayor, Councilmember Gloria has been a faithful and committed advocate for the community to rethink how we move about town. We’re so thankful of his efforts in making not just “sexy streets”, but great streets, where people can ride bicycles for commute and pleasure, alike. There is no doubt he has helped change the perception of cycling in our fine city.

There’s a long way to go, and BikeSD looks forward to continuing our work together – here or in Sacramento.
