San Diego River Bike Path Cleanup, August 22

The San Diego County Bicycle Coalition is hosting a twice-monthly cleanup effort along the San Diego River Bike Path. This month’s next cleanup will take place on Saturday, August 22, from 9:00am to 11:00am. Graffitti and invasive weeds along the path will be removed, as well as other hazards and eyesores. Volunteers should wear work cloths and prepare to get dirty. The cleanup will begin at the bike path’s intersection with Pacific Highway (near the I-8/I-5 junction; approximately 4798 Pacific Highway, although there is no parking at that location).
